The first step in setting goals is to consider what you want to achieve in your lifetime. Setting lifetime goals gives you the overall perspective that shapes all other aspects of your decision making.
To be realistic, a goal must represent an objective toward which you are both willing and able to work.
A goal can be set very high and yet be attainable and realistic, but you are the only one who can decide just how lofty your goal should be.
Be sure that every goal represents something that you dream or think about a good deal of your time.
Later you can transfer your desires to our goal setting worksheet, and then follow the instructions carefully to achieve your goals.
We have two goal setting worksheets in a PDF format which you can download and print out for your personal use.
These goal setting worksheets are for your personal use only (shown below).
Remember, you can also add as many of your own dreams or desires as you wish, as you think of them.
The purpose of this exercise is an attempt to help you decide which things in your life you would like to change, or begin doing, or acquire.
If you do this carefully it could lead to something that could change your life forever!
